Description of commemoration
In 1990, the world’s first permanent museum exhibition dedicated to the history and culture of the Roma was opened in Tarnów. Roma martyrology is one of the fragments of this exhibition that briefly illustrates the policy of extermination of the Roma community in Europe, highlighting the local history of the murder of Roma living in a settlement on the outskirts of the village of Szczurowa.
