Seat of District Museum in Tarnów
The Seat of District Museum in Tarnów is located in a town house at the Market Square in Tarnów. This building contains: the Art Department, the Administration Department, the Financial Department and the directorate.
On the ground floor and in the basement, there are exhibition rooms where temporary exhibitions are presented.
Visiting rules
Starting from 22 September 2025, every Wednesday is a free admission day for permanent exhibitions in all branches of the museum.
The last visitors are kindly requested to leave the exhibition area no later than 15 minutes before closing time.
Ticket pass
Ticket pass – a promotional ticket entitling you to visit the following facilities of the Museum in Tarnów:
- The seat of the Museum of the Tarnów Region at 3 Market Square,
- Town Hall – Gallery of Old Art,
- Museum of the History of Tarnów and the Region,
- Ethnographic Museum,
- "Panorama" Gallery
- Regional Center for Education about Remembrance.
It is valid for 30 days from the date of purchase and entitles you to enter each of the museums once.
