Architectural accessibility
The headquarters of the Museum of Tarnów Land is located at: Rynek 3, 33-100 Tarnów.
Below you will find information regarding the accessibility of the Main Headquarters of the Museum.
The building is located within the market square, where designated parking spaces for people with disabilities are available. They are located on Wekslarska Street and Rybny Square.
The bus stops closest to the market square are: Burek; Lwowska – Szeroka; Mickiewicza-Poczta.
Unfortunately, the Museum Headquarters building is not accessible for people with mobility impairments. Moving around the building requires the assistance of an aide.
On the right part of the facade, there is a depression that allows entry to the building's arcades and reaching the entrance doors.
The ground floor of the building has no horizontal obstacles.
There is an accessible reception, cloakroom, and toilet on the ground floor.
The building has an elevator with voice communication and Braille markings.
The elevator provides access to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors.
The 1st floor houses the secretariat and the directors' offices.
The 2nd floor contains the administration, accounting, and promotion offices.
The 3rd floor houses the Art Department and the Chief Curator's offices.
On the 1st and 2nd floors, in the central part of the corridor, there are two steps that can be overcome using ramp rails.
The exhibition hall on the ground floor is accessible.
The exhibition rooms in the basements are inaccessible due to the lack of an elevator and differences in levels.
The building has a typhlographic plan of the ground floor layout.
Assistance dogs are welcome in the building and other branches.
Apart from the elevator, there are no Braille markings, contrast markings, or enlarged print for the visually impaired or blind in the building.
In addition: we provide people with special needs with the possibility of evacuation or rescue in another way (voice messages, evacuation route markings, training and instructions for personnel in the field of fire protection and evacuation procedures).
Information and communication accessibility
We are working on full adaptation of the website, including adding alternative texts (audio description) to graphic materials published before 2020.
The building has a typhlographic plan of the ground floor layout.
The building is equipped with an FM system (reception – ground floor).
An induction loop is installed at the reception desk.
